How can you reach Valladolid?

If you are flying to Spain, these are your best options:

From Madrid Airport:

MADRID TO VALLADOLID

  1. From Madrid airport take a taxi or train to Estación Chamartín (Chamartín railway station)

  2. At Chamartín you can get the tickets at the ticket office, trains to Valladolid depart every hour.

  3. You should exit the train at Estación Campo Grande. This will leave you right in the center of Valladolid.

From Barcelona Airport:

BARCELONA TO VALLADOLID

  1. From Barcelona Airport you have 2 flight options to Valladolid

  2. Ryan Air and Vueling have direct flights, well priced to Valladolid Airport

  3. From Valladolid Airport you can either take a taxi to the city center or a shuttle bus to the city center (we recommend a Taxi just exiting the airport you will find these).

La Seca is a small village with no accommodation options. Therefore, we suggest you to stay Valladolid City Center, it's a nice city, 25 minutes away from la Seca.

  • Plaza Mayor and surrounding side-streets.

  • One of the main avenues of Valladolid. Very nice to walk until ‘Plaza Zorilla’’.

  • Nice church and surrounding plaza.

  • Beautiful Palace with a free museum inside, next to a picturesque plaza.

  • A very nice plaza next to the faculty of Law. Nearby you will find bar’s & cafe’s

  • Great park, nice to walk through, green and full of peacocks.

  • Walk along the r riverside boulevard, a very nice area. You can begin

    your walk to the Pisuerga, there.

For food & more in our lovely city:

  • A nice street along the Campo Grande park with many cafe's and bars with terraces.

  • Our favorite for drinks! Specially Cucu Banana’s bar! Indoor bars inside a beautiful passage (mainly cocktail bars).

  • Calle Cascajares. Nice bars and restaurants (tapas). Walk towards the church. It’s next to Pasaje Gutierrez

  • Side streets close to Plaza Mayor, full of bars/restaurants.

  • Better known as Plaza de Coca. A small plaza with cafeterias and bars.

  • Indoor (food) market with nice coffe places! One of Alex’s favorite cafe’s is there: El Fiel, and informal option for tapas.

  • La Pera Limonera. Bar/restaurant next to the river and ´beach´.

  • Calle Duque de la Victoria is a street with all types of restaurants, bars etc. leading to Plaza Mayor.
